The program includes music ranging from standard nursery rhymes to more contemporary songs such as those from The Wiggles and Hi 5. All activities are designed to stimulate of childhood development. These include fine and gross motor skills, cognitive development, turn taking (important in the development of developing interactive social behaviour), spatial awareness, listening skills and more. We have also introduced segments on "Auslan signing" and other languages as well as "musical stories" where we teach the "sol fa" to encourage tuneful singing.
Classes:
Babies : whist the ages of children in this session can change depending on the location, this class is usually reseerved for children up to 18 months old.
Tinies : catering for children from 19 months to 2 1/2 years
Family : whilst this class is aimed at children 3 years and above, it is envisaged that they will have younger siblings with them, so activities are structured to include options for all ages.
Sessions run for 30 minutes and families are welcome to stay afterwards for a play and a chat.
Classes are $13 for your first child and $8 for siblings over 12 months. Fees are payable by the term, but you can come along and pay for just one class to see hey dee ho for yourself.
