Thank you Amanda for the time Harrison and I have been coming to hey dee ho. I am really excited by the program and have seen how Harrison has grown and developed with it. From an Early Childhood perspective I love the structure of the session, it is very predictable to the little children, it has a beginning, a middle and an end. I love the content, the concepts, high/low, fast/slow etc, the familiar songs and the introduction of new songs. I love the activities, the change from sitting, to moving, to using puppets and instruments and the packing up. It is wonderful how Harrison has learnt to pack up and as we saw the other day to sort as he packed up. I have found his articulation when singing has been very clear and his ability to hum from an early age has been great and to sing a song in his head is amazing.
One of the very first things he learnt was STOP. What an incredible skill to learn so young to control yourself and stop when the music stops or to stop with a signal. We both come away from your sessions so refreshed and energised it is wonderful. As you have also observed Harrison is an observer during the session but when we go home he sings the songs and does the actions all the way through. It has not concerned me that he did not participate in the session because I know he is learning from it, but I met a parent recently who said she stopped going because her child didn't do anything. When I told her about Harrison, she said maybe she should start again. As an Early Childhood Teacher I love everything about the hey dee ho program you run and your energy is fantastic. Have a well earned break and we will see you next year.

Every Thursday Hey Dee Ho music program attends our centre. Our children look forward to this day as they love their presenter and the children are actively involved in the program. The children sing, dance and play musical instruments and we always here laughter and joy coming from every room when Hey Dee Ho is near! We would recommend the program to any parent, childcare centre, Kindergarten or family orientated function. Hey Dee Ho brings a great variety of experiences enhancing each child's developmental milestones such as fine and gross motor, cognitive, sensory and emotional development. We love Hey Dee Ho!!!!!!

I was looking for a local music programme that I could attend with my preschooler and was delighted whgen I discovered that hey dee ho music classes were starting at the Unley town hall. The classes are presented by the gorgeous Wendy Patching who teaches with genuine love and boundless energy. Each week she guides the little ones through an adventure of movement ad music based on a particular theme. I watch with joy as my daughter
moves freely to music
plays instruments
recited favourite nursery rhymes
discovers new songs
role plays with costumes and puppets and
learns how to sign messages and songs!
The programme is rich in variety, educationally sound and presented in a warm and stimulating atmosphere...what more could I ask for?

Hey dee ho music has been running a weekly program for our 3 year old prekinders and our 4 year old kinder children all this year. This has become a highlight of the 3-5s and is a program I can highly recommend.
From a Director's standpoint I find the program educational, stimulating, captivating, age appropriate and run to a standard of excellence. It is great value for money and covers language development, music and movement, cultural diversity, inclusive practices and much more.
All the children participate, even the ones with attention issues. We have several children with behaviour issues yet they all participate and do so with enthusiasm.
From the parents and children we have had great feedback. The parents are happy to pay for the program as it is both affordable and they can hear the enjoyment their children have by the conversations they get the minute they pick up their children at the end of the day. The take home sheets keep parents connected to their child's day.
As for the children, for them it is LOADS OF FUN. Each week they look forward to Dot and her team coming. I have no hesitation in recommending this program. It is affordable, entertaining, educational and a great asset to our centre with no organisational nightmares for our staff.

Jodie Field began music sessions at the Bendigo Special Developmental School following a recommendation of a staff member who had taken her child to a birthday party where Jodie's hey dee ho music was a feature of the party. The Bendigo Special Developmental School is a Special School which caters for students aged from 5 to 18, who have a moderate to severe intellectual disability. Jodie initially began working with 18 wheelchair bound students of all ages.
The impact that Jodie has on our students is nothing short of amazing. Jodie's music sessions caters for students of all ages and a variety of disabilities. Jodie prepares her sessions taking into account the different learning styles of the students. Sessions are based on a particular theme each week, with adapted resources hand made by Jodie, which allow our students to participate to the best of their ability. In preparation for the weekly session, Jodie learns the relevant Auslan signs, which typifies the level of professionalism and commitment to our students that Jodie displays.
Jodie currently works with all students within the school and runs a variety of music programs, from working with the choir years section, to running sensory based programs for particular students as well as her initial program caters for the individual needs of our students. The passion that Jodie has for music and for our students participation in music is the underlying reason for the immense pleasure that hey dee ho music delivers to the student's of the Bendigo Special Developmental School.

Dear Dot
I have not met you but I feel I know you and I cannot thank you enough for the positive impact you have on our little and treasured Georgia. She absolutely adores you, talks about you, she imitates you. She looks forward to Friday so much. I wonder some days when you are going to work, how much you realise that what you do, who you are and the way you respond to the children can have such an impact and shape them forever.
Thank you for being so great at what you do. You have shaped Georgia to be even more beautiful and to have a love of music and rhythm that will stay with her forever. You are truly so special and I am so grateful!"

I would just like to send you this email to inform you that we are very happy with the service that the Hey Dee Ho Music Program provides to our centre. We have CHRIS the music man come out every Monday Afternoon and he is an absolute asset to have as part of our team. All the children, staff and families adore him and we always look forward to having a fun. The children not only have a good time with Chris it is also a learning experience for all and receiving a little note at the end of the lesson on what the children did enables us to continue the program at the centre and also encourage the parents to do the same thing at home.
All your staff do an amazing job and we are always smiling with the end result.

Thank you for helping us to provide such a great music and movement program for the children at our centre. Since Melissa has been visiting our centre on a weekly basis we have had very positive feedback from the children, staff and families. The children all enjoy the program; the music, the props and the experiences all contribute to providing an interesting and engaging activity and we have noticed some remarkable improvements in things like concentration, particularly with some of the children who may have had difficulty with this before. The use of Makaton as a part of the program has been particularly advantageous for the special needs children in our centre. Melissas voice is captivating for all involved and the program she provides is very engaging; everyone looks forward to the day that she is visiting. Everyone at ACCC would like to highly recommend the program. We were looking for an extra curricular activity that would enhance the program that is offered, and we have found that with the Hey Dee Ho Music program offered on the Gold Coast.

Hey-dee-ho has been an exciting part of Fawkner Park Children's Centre program for the last 4 years. Children respond well to the fun and stimulating sessions presented by enthusiastic professionals. These sessions are presented at children's level in a warm and caring manner. The teachers use colourful resources: dress-ups, finger puppets and a variety of percussion musical instruments to capture and keep children's interest during the sessions. Parents who have a bit of time in the morning love joining in the sessions before going to work having a cheerful and invigorating start to their day.

I just wanted to take the opportunity to provide some feedback about the wonderful performance Suzy gave at my son Jasper's birthday party on the weekend. She was professional andvery well organised. She built rapport with the children very quickly and kept them engaged for the entire session - not an easy achievement, especially considering the diversity of ages (9 months-5 years). All the adults at the party commented on what a fantastic job she had done and complimented the Hey Dee Ho program. I actually think some of the other mothers were envious that they hadn't thought of using hey Dee Ho first!
Please pass on my feedback and thanks to Suzy - she has an amazing voice and helped make the party a success. I'm glad that both my children have the opportunity to participate in Hey Dee Ho each week at ABC Point Cook Central, it's a wonderful program.

...We always know when Hey Dee Ho have been to Future Kids as Dana comes home singing her little heart out, she even wants to stand on a chair and perform for the family – it’s wonderful, please pass on our thanks to the team.

...Will has only been at daycare for 6 or 7 weeks so he is still trying to adjust but the girls tell me Thursday is his favourite day when he gets to do Hey-Dee-Ho! I am constantly amazed that when I start singing him a song, he does actions that I haven't taught him yet! So thank you for making his week.
